Wow did we land some great interviews on the anniversary of the January 6th breach on the United States Capitol building. We talked with those who were on the floor at the time of the attack, sheltered in place for their own safety.
Democratic Congressman Dan Kildee was right there when the gun blast was fired and tells us he thought he was going to die.
Republican Congressman Peter Meijer was in his first week on the job as a newly elected freshman, never could he have imagined what took place that day.
What does it all mean one year later? We had a tremendously insightful interview with Alan Dershowitz who voted for Joe Biden but thinks the president blew an opportunity to unite the country with a divisive speech that blamed Republicans while ignoring other violent acts by the far left.
This country has to find a way to share our differences short of violence. We need to go back to peaceful protesting and making our voice heard on election day. Yelling at and physically confronting people we disagree with only makes us weaker as a country. United we stand! Divided we fall.
